The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was established in the year 2014. Department of ECE is enriched with qualified and experienced faculty members with exposure in ECE & its allied fields. This department spread its field of influence significantly in all other branches of Engineering. The Students of this department are highly competent and ever enthusiastic.

We teach and give training to the students across entire area, which goes much beyond curriculum.

Robotics, Embedded and VLSI technologies, Digital signal and Image processing, Mobile and Satellite communication, Optical and microwave transmission of signals, consumer electronics, 3G and 4G technologies, Cognitive radio technology in wireless regional area networks and host of other fields with latest developments are covered in detail.

The ECE department has resources to create an academic industrial environment through continuous interaction with industry and organizing guest lectures, seminars, industrial visits, workshops and in-plant training, etc.

This department offers hands on training in placements and projects, seminars and workshops to the students. Special attention is being given to the students to train and educate them to become entrepreneur in their technical field of interest. The Department has signed up MoU with Texas Instruments.

Vision

The vision of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is to train the students to have in-depth knowledge of the subjects in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering thereby making them to develop confidence for the challenges in the industry and to strive for excellence in research and technological services, imparting quality training to students, to make them competent and motivational engineers.

Mission

  • To provide quality and value based education in the field of electronics and communication engineering keeping in pace with the rapidly changing technological needs of the industry and research.
  • To develop the spirit of innovation and creativity by establishing Centre of excellence in upcoming areas.
  • Establish Industry Institute Interaction program to enhance the student’s knowledge.
  • To encourage faculty to attend workshops, seminars, faculty development programs and engage them in continuous learning and to use innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Inculcate creative thinking through innovative and group work exercises which enhances the entrepreneur skills, employability and research capabilities.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

  • To prepare alumnae to strong in mathematical and scientifical analysis to grab the knowledge of basic science and engineering.
  • To teach science based engineering learning to develop professional skills that will prepare the students for immediate service in Electronics & Communication Engineering base industries.
  • To groom the graduates with the current technological updation in order to mould their career.
  • To create among the students the curiosity, the desire and ability to keep learning throughout life.
